This page says what we collect on treerootsretreat.com and when you book, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Who we are

The data controller is Me-San Hospitality Co., Ltd., trading as Tree Roots Retreat, 75/8 Moo 5, Taphong, Mueang Rayong, Rayong 21000, Thailand. Write to hello@treerootsretreat.com.

Booking data

When you enquire or book we collect what we need to hold the room and to meet Thai hotel law: your name, email, phone number, stay dates, the number of adult guests, and identification at check-in. Under the Hotel Act we register guests and report foreign arrivals to the Immigration Bureau.

Bookings run on Cloudbeds. Checking dates on this site, or opening Reserve, takes you to the Cloudbeds booking engine at us2.cloudbeds.com. An advertising visit may arrive on /reservation/ followed by a code. That address redirects to the same Cloudbeds page and keeps the click parameters. Cloudbeds then processes the reservation for us. The cookie banner does not change that redirect.

We use Xero as a service provider for accounts. We do not sell your personal data.

Google Analytics, Google Ads, and the Meta Pixel

Pages load Google Tag Manager. Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-TVE2E5F9J3, measures visits. The same property can follow a visit from this site onto the Cloudbeds booking domain, which is how a reservation that started here stays in one measurement. Google Ads measures advertising clicks. Both stay denied until you accept cookies.

The Meta Pixel, from Meta Platforms, measures advertising. It does not load until you accept. If you refuse, it stays unloaded.

Cookies

Before you choose, Google Consent Mode is denied for ad storage, analytics storage, ad user data, and ad personalisation. Google tags may send a cookieless signal. They do not write analytics or advertising cookies while those four settings are denied.

If you accept, we update consent to granted. Google Analytics may then set cookies such as _ga. Google Ads may set advertising cookies. The Meta Pixel loads and records a page view.

This browser stores your choice under the name trr-consent so the next page can remember it. That record is not used for advertising.

Your rights under the Thai PDPA

The Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 gives you the right to access your personal data, to correct it, to ask us to delete it, to restrict or object to certain uses, to ask for a copy in a portable form where the law provides it, and to withdraw consent where we rely on consent. Withdrawing consent does not undo a booking you have asked us to fulfil, or a record we must keep under hotel or tax law.

Adults only

Tree Roots Retreat is adults-only. Every guest is 18 or older. There are no child rates. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
