Aaron Le Boutillier

FOUNDER + CEO

Tree Roots Retreat is the vision of Founder, Aaron Le Boutillier, who believes wellness, movement and meditation could be discovered through the martial arts and cardio vascular intense exercises. His dream is to create a space for people to explore their full potential, improve their overall wellness, and find peace away from life's stress.

Aaron has lived in Thailand for over two decades and speaks fluent Thai. He has a Masters Degree in Criminal Psychology and is currently completing his PhD in the same field. He’s also a published Author with a best-selling book.

Fun Fact: Aaron has completed the legendary Marathon Des Sables, known as the toughest footrace on Earth (290 km), and the Coastal Challenge in Costa Rica.

Dr. Rodney King

DIRECTOR OF TRAINING + EXPERIENCES

Dr. Rodney brings a wealth of experience to Tree Roots. His dream is to make Tree Roots the top destination for personal development.

He has a degree in Psychology, a Masters Degree in Leading Innovation and Change, a Doctorate in Mindful-Embodied Leadership and is currently completing his Masters in Mind, Body & Ecology.

In addition to his academic work, Dr. Rodney is also a world-renowned Martial Arts Coach and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt. He’s the creator of Crazy Monkey Defense Boxing, Monkey-Jits and Weaponize-Your-Body programs that are taught all over the world.

Fun Fact: Dr. Rodney’s hosts his own ‘podclass’ called The Art of Self-Reliance where he interviews amazing people living life on their own terms and making a positive difference in the word.
