Pet policy

We welcome well-behaved dogs at Tree Roots Retreat.

The basics

• One dog per room, maximum 15kg
• ฿200 per night pet surcharge (added at booking or check-in)
• Dogs must have a current rabies vaccination
• Dogs are not permitted in the communal kitchen or library
• Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pet on-property and on the beach

What we provide

• Water and food bowls in-room
• A recommended beach walking route (ask at reception)
• Nearest veterinary clinic details on request

Please note

• Cats, birds, and exotic pets are not accepted
• Dogs may not be left unattended in rooms for more than two hours
• Excessive noise or disturbance may result in a request to make alternative arrangements

Before you arrive

• Tell us you are bringing your dog when you book, or message us beforehand, so we can get the room ready
• Bring proof of your dog’s current rabies vaccination
• Pack a lead, your dog’s usual bed or blanket, food, and any medication they need
• The ฿200 per night pet surcharge is in addition to the room rate

Rayong with a dog

• Rayong is hot and humid for much of the year. Early morning and late afternoon are the most comfortable times for walks
• Sand and paths can get very hot in the middle of the day, so check the ground before a long walk
• Keep fresh water to hand, especially after time on Mae Ramphueng Beach
• Free parking on-site makes it easy to arrive by car with your dog and your things

Good to know about your stay

• Tree Roots Retreat is adults only. We do not accept children
• All rooms are non-smoking double rooms
• Check-in is from 2pm. If you arrive earlier, the team will do its best to have your room ready
